There are plenty of Beaches in India from which some are mostly well known and famous like as Goa Beaches, Kerala Beaches and Mumbai Beaches but there are still some hidden beaches from the crowed so let us explore the beauty of Best Beaches In India.

1) Shanghumugham Beach- Kerala

Shanghumugham Beach of Kerala is perfect place for sunset watchers to spend an ideal evening which is around 8 km away from Trivandrum City of Kerala, South India. This beach is less crowded and calm with white sand offering much more to Stand Out over other beaches. The beautiful breathtaking Sculpture of  Mermaid (35+ meter long) is the main attraction of this beach which is created by Kanai Kunjuraman, the most renowned Sculptor of Kerala. However, the beach place is not well maintained which is a negative point, otherwise it is a awesome and unspoiled  place. Another vantage point to watch the sunset is Indian Coffee House, just across the beach, which offers its services from 7:30am to 9:00pm. Also there is a Star Fish Restaurant, a open air theatre with car parking facility. What is more you need to enjoy?

2) Karaikal Beach- Pondicherry

Pondicherry city is a Union Territory of India which is full of numerous beaches but Karaikal Beach is most visited beach. It attracts more tourists among other beaches in Pondicherry. The beautiful Arasalar river reaches out to the sea and a road is side by side with river which makes easy to reach the Karaikal beach. You can also enjoy the peaceful Kayaking in river. There are immovable sitting chairs along with road for visitors. You can enjoy playing volleyball in beach with your friends or family members and have a memorable time in virgin beach. 3) Radhanagar Beach- Havelock Island, Andaman

Havelock Island of Andaman has the most beautiful beaches and Radhanagar Beach of Havelock Island is most visited and famous beach with clean water and white powdery sand. You will be amazed to have in this beach for swimming. However, the water sports are not allowed in this beach and also you should keep in mind that the sun sets around 5pm. 4) Varkala Beach- Kerala

Varakala Beach of Kerala in Trivadrum city is much peaceful and less commercial compared to famous Kovalam Beachs of Kerala. This is perfect place for evening time and spending hours on seeing sunset in peaceful environment. This is the only beach in south Kerala where are the numerous cliffs alongside the beach with natural water spouts.

5) Lighthouse Beach- Kovalam, Kerala

Lighthouse Beach of Kovalam is the most visited beach than other two, Hwah Beach and Samudra Beach of Kovalam. Beach is very long over other two beaches and has a very clean blue water with white sand. You can enjoy the adventure activities like water sports, para cycling and paragliding. It got its name from a old Vizhinjam Lighthouse which is located on a rocky headland,  is around 30 feet of height. This beach is safe guarded by lifeguards so you need not to worry about swimming far away from the shore :). Lighthouse beach receives a mix of local and foreigner visitors all over the year.

6) Agonda Beach- Goa

Goa has plenty of beaches for everyone and it satisfies the need of everyone from party seekers to peaceful beach side holiday and Agonda beach is only for those looking for a peaceful beach side holiday as it is less crowded and not very commercialised where there is nothing to do with late night parties. This beautiful, calm, without noise making boats and clear water with white sand beach is in South Goa, far away from the city. Having in this beach is like a private beach where there is no hawkers and no pollution. If you want some adventure activities and late night parties then head over to Palolem Beach. Agonda beach is ideal for those all looking for sunbathing, relaxing, swimming and spending some time in peace with loved ones. Diveagar beach is becoming famous day by day and more resorts are opening nearby the beach. There are two famous temples, one of God Ganesh Ji and second of Rupnarayan (God Vishnu), worth your visit. This beach is perfect for swimming, playing in sea shore and you can also enjoy the Para-Sailing in this beach. If you are lucky, go in the early morning to watch out the Dolphins.

These beaches are densely covered with coconut palms. Lakshadweep is made up of numerous islands around more than 30 and it is Union Territory of India. Khajjiar's nick name is "Mini Switzerland" and it is located 24 km from Dalhousie hill station. There is a small lake in the middle of saucer shaped meadow having floating island in it. However, the lake covered with weeds because of heavy silting during rain. But still the meadows and landscape of Khajjiar is surrounded by dense forests which makes it one of the most visited tourist places. It is a delightful place for a photographer.

Dharamshala & McLeod Ganj

Dhasramshala is a hill station located in the Kangra District of Himachal Pradesh and it is the headquarter of Kangra. It is snow crowned city in the upper reaches of Kangra Valleys. The upper Part is McleodGanj which is the center of Buddhism and now it is the headquarter of Tibet Government in exile. The Rohtang and Kunzum pass from manali side are usually closed until the month of may but Reckong Peo pass from Shimla side would be accessible all over the year. The ideal way to enjoy the beauty of unspoiled Spiti would be via Rohtang and Kunzum Pass coming from Manali.
